My good friend Lara was talking about routines and Dr. Oz was recently talking about the importance of routines here; this got me to thinking..... a routine is something that would be welcomed right about now. After the frenzie of the holidays and the rush of the season, I am longing for a good healthy routine. I am slowly but surely starting one. My goals are:
1. Get a proper amount of sleep.
2. Eat a healthy diet.
4. Cook healthy inviting food.
5. Exercise, exercise, exercise.
6. Create some art.
7. Live, love and laugh in the now.
8. Have fun doing all of the above.
In reading some of the great blogs I read I came accross a cool blog that inspired me to do this project: I am going to take random inspiring/interesting photos with my iphone. There is something about taking spontaneous, sometimes secretive, random photo capturing a perfect moment, that I love. Here is a link to Fabloolosity an EXCELLENT blog that is very creative and inspiring well worth checking out. Her cell phone pics are GREAT!
I shot these with the my iphone (LOVE the iphone), my family and I were all out running some routine errands and I saw the beautiful sky. I am always drawn to the sky.....
I am excited about the cell phone pics...
Here is a breakfast from the week. Shock of shocks it is not eggs.... I love poached eggs... but it was a good museli.
Healthy lunch. I am getting bored with the basics and wanting to do some cooking....The yogurt, pineapple, almond combo was a good one.
Another random cell phone pic....
On the working out front I am pumped about the new Wii EA Sports Active Personal Trainer exercise disk for the Nintendo Wii. I love it! I bought it to use on those days when it is too cold to go to the gym or I don't want to make the trek to the gym,etc.... so it is a good option for home. So far it is great. It is a way better workout than I thought it would be. It is really challenging. I did the 1st day challenge of the 30 day workout challenge. I did the hard level (go hard or go home!), in retrospect I wished I would have done the medium setting. There are various exercises that work all body part, lunges, squats, running, jumping, boxing, bicep curls and many more, all with a fun positive trainer.
My profile character actually looks a lot like me .... scary...
I love the boxing!
Have a great night everyone!!
